  • Can I shop in-store for Products?

  • Can you recommend products virtually?

    Yes! One of the mavens many skills is that she is a pro at curating effective and results driven skin care regimens. Please use our Booking Link to schedule a virtual consultation and make sure you have a budget in mind and a bare face.

  • What is Acne Bootcamp?

    Acne Bootcamp is a 12 week program that is curated to become 100% effective for all types of acne. Acne bootcamp can be done in person and virtually.If you are an in-clinic patient, you will come in every 3 weeks for an acne treatment and will be put on a full acne regimen. Please be prepared to spend $200-$500 at your initial appointment for your full homecare. These products should last for the duration of the plan. Your products will run out at different times, so don’t stress, you won’t be spending this amount every 3 months.

  • What is the refund and exchange policy?

    Once a product leaves our clinic it cannot be returned. If you have a defective product or damaged product from shipping please bring it to the clinic so we may exchange it with the company. Or if you are virtual, please email customereservice@musemavenskin.com with photos or videos of the damaged merchandise.

    What should I expect during my appointment?

    If it's your first visit, we will conduct a consultation and skin analysis to determine your concerns, find out your skin history through a series of questions, discuss your current skin care routine, current products, and your immediate goals. In addition to  a facial treatment or peel.

  • How often should I receive a treatment?

    For maintenance we recommend once a month. If you are in a series of treatments or looking to target things like acne and hyperpigmentation, you may receive bi-weekly and monthly treatments. This varies for each person and will be determined in your treatment plan.

  • What service should I book after my peel?

    You should follow the directed Treatment plan provided to you.

  • Do you service children?

    Yes.


    Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

  • What products do you use?

    The best part about our skintique is the variation of products and brands we offer. We currently offer Muse Maven Rx, Reveskin, Seraphim, and other cruelty-free, FDA approved brands. 

  • How early should I arrive for my appointment?

    5 minutes before. This will allow ample time to get situated before you speak with the esthy.

  • Who is not a good candidate for a Chemical Peel?

    Chemical peels should be avoided if any of the following conditions are present:

    • Active cold sores, herpes simplex or warts in the area to be treated
    • Wounded, sunburned or excessively sensitive skin
    • Accutane use within the last year
    • History of recent chemotherapy or radiation therapy
    • Allergies to aspirin
    • Women who are pregnant or actively breastfeeding
    • Clients with Vitiligo
    • Clients with a history of autoimmune disease (such as rheumatoid arthritis, psoriasis, lupus, multiple sclerosis etc.) or any condition that may weaken their immune system

    How do I book a body peel?

    Choose the service based on the part of the body that you would like to have the peel on. The areas are considered a small body peel or a large body peel. Don't worry if the area is not listed, you can choose the Unique area peel. Consultations are included in all treatments so don't worry if you don't book the correct area.
